more from our first session

Join us again on Tuesday.
Beginning next week, we will devote a post each week to a featured artist. Multiple images of their work and perhaps, a view on how a drawing develops from start to completion!

If you go to Pearl Paint on Canal Street in Manhattan, be sure to check out the Spanish- American Restaurant on Church Street between Lispenard and Canal. Comidas Tipicas for sure, and Breakfast specials that will be sure to slow you down for a couple of hours. Unbelievable low prices and friendly multilingual counter staff, too!

Work from our first Tuesday

Here is some nicely developed artwork from our first session.
The blue tape in the third image means that we go back to the pose multiple
times to generate more fully developed artwork at a relaxed pace.
There will be much more over weeks to come and you will be able to see how individual drawing develop!

Our new Group and new Blog

This blog pertains to the new Tuesday Evening Drawing workgroup sessions that
began yesterday at Rockland Center for the Arts on Greenbush Road
in West Nyack, new York.

This group features:

Longer poses through which Artists may explore the figure in depth
and more fully develop their artwork in their own individual style

We do not Judge. We do not Censor.

A large roster of Top Regional, NYC, and international models

A friendly quiet (with music as ambiance)atmosphere, free from excessive conversation during poses

This group is co-ordinated by Daniel Dugan, a noted figurative art instructor
and is in the spirit of the sessions that he ran in Nyack from 1999 to 2007.

This space will soon also be a venue for participating artists to show how their work develops during the sessions and to inform the public of exhibitions and events.

Come join us!

Excelsior!
